Flagship course
Hospitality Ledger Audit Intensive
Thirty-eight guided hours teaching how to run hospitality finance audits inside a dedicated auditing app—from night close through controller review.
What you will walk away able to do
- Rebuild a night-audit pack with documented exceptions and clear ownership.
- Trace F&B theoretical vs. actual cost into the audit app’s evidence trail.
- Prioritize city-ledger aging items that actually threaten month-end accuracy.
- Write controller comments that survive franchise or ownership review.
- Know when the app’s suggested flags are noise—and when they are not.

FAQ
Do I need the audit app installed before day one?
Yes. Learners receive sandbox credentials one week prior. Without sandbox access you can still watch walkthroughs, but you will not complete graded labs.
Is this suitable for restaurant-only groups?
Most scenarios assume rooms revenue exists. Pure F&B operators usually start with Outlet Cost Variance Studio instead.
What is a real limitation of this course?
We do not cover statutory financial statement preparation or tax filing. The intensive stops at operational finance audit readiness inside hospitality systems.
How much live time is required?
About nine hours of live sessions across four weeks; the rest is asynchronous lab work with deadlines.
Learner notes
“Module seven on evidence discipline changed how our night auditors leave comments. I still wish the banquet folio week had one more sample property—our package structures are stranger than the two cases provided.”
Platform-style review: “Clear syllabus. Capstone feedback was specific. Would recommend to multi-outlet finance leads.”
